The engine

Seven modules. One coherent operation.

Each module connects to the next through a structured data contract. Offers are verified before campaigns run. Content is reviewed before it publishes. Commission data is reconciled before earnings are reported.

MODULE 01

Only run campaigns for offers we've verified.

Every affiliate program is recorded with its merchant, commission structure, attribution rules, permitted channels, geographic restrictions, approval status, and link health. Offer terms are re-verified before any campaign is enabled. When an offer expires, changes terms, or a link breaks, affected campaigns pause automatically — not manually.

  • Merchant · commission · attribution rules stored per offer
  • Permitted channels and geographic restrictions tracked
  • Link health and offer expiration monitoring
  • Auto-pause on term change, expiry, or broken link

MODULE 02

Research real questions. Map them to stages.

Audience intent is researched from authorized sources — forums, search data, review threads — not invented. Every topic is classified into Discovery (explain the problem), Evaluation (comparisons, costs, limitations), or Decision (setup guides, purchase FAQs). Each topic maps to relevant offers and an appropriate next action. Unsupported demand estimates are labeled unknown.

  • Discovery / Evaluation / Decision classification
  • Topic-to-offer mapping with evidence references
  • Authorized research sources only
  • Unsupported estimates labeled unknown — never assumed

MODULE 03

Link audience, offer, evidence, and channel — before writing anything.

A campaign record is created before any content is produced. It links the audience segment, the specific problem being addressed, the verified offer, supporting evidence, content formats, authorized distribution channels, tracking identifiers, budget, and success criteria. Channel selection is based on audience fit and program permission — not reach alone.

  • Campaign record links audience + offer + evidence + channel
  • UTM and sub-ID identifiers assigned per campaign
  • Success criteria defined before execution begins
  • Channel eligibility verified against program terms

MODULE 04–05

AI drafts. You approve. Nothing publishes without a gate.

Content is produced as researched articles, honest comparisons, tutorials, newsletters, social posts, and video scripts. Every piece distinguishes researched descriptions from firsthand testing. Material limitations and who should not buy are included. Before any piece publishes, it passes through a structured review queue — disclosure present, factual claims supported, links verified, mobile rendering checked.

  • Researched descriptions distinguished from firsthand testing
  • Material limitations and exclusions included
  • Human review required before any publication
  • Disclosure, link validity, and mobile behavior verified at gate

MODULE 06

Publish through authorized channels. Scope expands after verification.

Distribution begins with one owner-approved channel. Additional channels are added only after the first is verified. Automatic publishing requires an explicit written policy defining accounts, formats, frequency, evidence requirements, and limits. Excluded from all channels: unsolicited bulk messaging, fake engagement, cookie stuffing, forced redirects, and unauthorized scraping.

  • One channel verified before adding the next
  • Auto-publish requires explicit written policy per account
  • Affiliate disclosures placed with every recommendation
  • Excluded: bulk messaging, fake engagement, cookie stuffing

MODULE 07

Track clicks. Reconcile commissions. Report what's real.

Campaign and content identifiers are assigned before distribution. Affiliate sub-IDs are used where the program permits. UTM tags measure owned-channel traffic without being treated as proof of commission. Commission reports are imported from affiliate dashboards or verified webhook events. Events are deduplicated; delayed conversions, reversals, and payouts are reconciled. Estimated earnings are never shown as received payouts.

  • Sub-IDs and UTMs assigned per campaign — not post-hoc
  • Commission states tracked: pending · approved · reversed · paid
  • Estimated earnings separated from received payouts
  • Missing data shown explicitly — never substituted with zeros

The operating discipline

Most affiliate operations
fail at the fundamentals.

Common patterns — invented reviews, no disclosures, campaigns running on expired offers, commissions assumed before they clear, paid traffic started before organic is validated — produce short-term clicks and long-term account terminations.

Vaultpipe operates differently. Offers are verified before campaigns run. Content distinguishes what was researched from what was tested firsthand. The human review gate catches disclosure gaps, broken links, and unsupported claims before they reach an audience. Commission states are reconciled, not assumed.

"Technical completion does not establish commercial success."

Build sequence

Implemented incrementally.
Validated before enabled.

Each step must be validated before the next is enabled. Status labels follow the acceptance framework: planned → implemented → verified → deployed → commercially observed.

Planned
Implemented
Verified
A

Audit existing code, accounts, permissions, and missing dependencies

Inspect runtime before choosing dependencies or integrations.

Implemented
B

Implement one approved offer and its verified source record

Enter offer into registry with terms, channels, and attribution rules verified.

Planned
C

Generate one useful article and its tracked conversion path

Path A, B, or C selected by intent stage and program rules.

Planned
D

Validate disclosure, factual support, links, and mobile behavior

Review gate: disclosure present, claims supported, links live, mobile checked.

Planned
E

Publish to one authorized channel

Owner approval required. Channel eligibility verified against program terms.

Planned
F

Verify click reporting and commission-report ingestion

Test tracking with permitted methods. Never manufacture qualifying purchases.

Planned
G

Add repurposing and a second channel

Only after step F is verified. Channel permission re-checked.

Planned
H

Add consent-based email nurturing

Voluntary signups only. Educational sequence before affiliate links.

Planned
I

Enable bounded optimization after sufficient observed data

One variable at a time. Observation window and sample size defined first.

Planned
J

Expand within demonstrated capacity and approved budgets

Budget increases proposed for approval. No capacity guarantees.

Planned

Acceptance criteria

A campaign can move from verified offer to validated content, authorized publication, working affiliate referral, and reconciled reporting without duplicate actions. Technical completion does not establish commercial success. Outcomes are labeled: planned, implemented, verified, deployed, and commercially observed — separately.

Operating scope

What this engine
does. And what it doesn't.

Constraints are not weaknesses — they're the difference between a sustainable operation and one that produces compliance problems. These are the explicit limits of what Vaultpipe does.
